Holiday Inn Wilmington, OH

This five-story hotel has a full basement and many conference and meeting rooms located on the first floor level. Being able to create an open floor plan was critical in serving the needs of the client. In order to accomplish this feat, each floor level as well as the roof was framed with precast concrete planks supported on by a special floor to floor stagger steel truss system. The foundations for this structure are concrete resting on a spread footings system. In addition to the conference centers and living quarters, a roof top heliport was provided to access this building.

Hampton Inn West Chester, OH

This new structure is a four-story hotel located in West Chester, Ohio. The framing of the floor and roof were done with the use of precast concrete planks supported on load bearing masonry walls. Each masonry wall serves as shear walls for the lateral resisting system.

Wingate Hotel West Chester, OH

This three-story wood framed hotel structure with a drive up Porte Cochere provided a unique engineering challenge. With much emphasis centered on having an open conference center and banquet hall on the ground floor, several clear span steel girders trusses were engineered to bridge the first floor creating the necessary open floor plan while supporting the multiple floors above.

Residence Inn PH II Florence, KY

This three-story wood framed structure is home to the Residence Inn located in Erlanger, Kentucky. The framing of all floors and roof of this hotel consists of engineered wood products bearing on wood stud walls. This building is supported on a shallow concrete spread footing.

Thomas Moore Dormatory Crestview Hills, KY

This two-story dormitory structure utilized long-span metal decking and a one-way concrete slab bearing on each of the proposed corridor walls in order reduce the floor to floor heights. The framing of the elevated floor was left exposed creating a unique architectural ceiling with closed flutes for electrical raceways.
