Masonry Construction
utilizes pre-fabricated modular concrete or fired clay blocks
assembled in the field to create walls. Masonry
walls are usually reinforced to resist lateral loads due to wind and
seismic requirements. Masonry walls can span vertically 22 to 30
feet depending on thickness and reinforcing.
Masonry walls are typically used for schools, jails, hotels and low
rise retail structures. Masonry walls are strong, durable and
low maintenance in addition they have good fire rating and low sound
transmission.
